A remarkable achievement is shining a light on the creative spirit and community dedication of Always Bee You CIO. The charity, which provides invaluable support and opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, has been shortlisted for the prestigious National Community Rail Network Awards, thanks to their heartwarming mosaic project at Ware Train Station.
The mosaic, a vibrant display of community artistry, was a result of a wonderful collaboration between Always Bee You CIO, And by Donna Reeves, and the New River Line Community Rail Partnership. The project brought together individuals, ideas, and a shared love for creating something beautiful and meaningful. With Ware Station being part of the Greater Anglia line and under the care of Ware Town Council, this initiative also underscores the station’s role as a hub for connection and creativity in the local area.
The stunning mosaic has transformed Ware Train Station into a beacon of pride and inspiration, showcasing the incredible talents of the adults supported by Always Bee You. It is a testament to what can be achieved when inclusivity and artistic vision come together.
The National Community Rail Network Awards celebrate outstanding contributions to the UK’s railways and their surrounding communities. To be shortlisted is a tremendous honour, and the winners will be announced on 13th March 2025. All fingers are crossed as we eagerly await the results of this significant recognition.
